Description
The Gray Jay (Perisoreus canadensis) is a distinctive small-billed jay living in the coniferous forests at higher elevations. You have to guard your food in these areas or the pesky jay will steal from you. The gray jay, also known as the Canada Jay, is the national bird of Canada. This bird was photographed near Crystal Lake in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington State, USA.
