Nothing speaks of rural America like an old barn. Sadly, many of these wooden relics have fallen into disrepair or simply disappeared. The few still remaining remind us of a time when small farms produced most of the food we eat. This unique blue painted barn sits in the Stillaguamish Valley north of Arlington, Washington State, USA.
Photographer Jeff Goulden has combined his lifelong passion for photography and his love of the natural world, creating a portfolio that reveals nature in its pure and simple beauty. Growing up in the Puget Sound region of Washington State gave Jeff the opportunity to pursue hiking, canoeing, backpacking, mountain climbing and other outdoor adventures.
